The following is a message from the Saginaw Community Foundation:
The Saginaw Community Foundation is offering approximately $200,000 in scholarships to students attending college or vocational school in the fall of 2009.
Students can apply for scholarships by completing an electronic application at www.saginawfoundation.org. Applicants need to complete only one application to apply for nearly 150 scholarships. The eligibility criteria for each scholarship vary and are explained in detail at the Foundation's website. The application deadline is Sunday, February 1.
Since 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has provided more than $2 million to area students to help support the cost of post-secondary education. The scholarships are funded by community donors.
