FLINT -- The following is a message from Mayor Williamson of Flint:
Mayor Donald J. Williamson, on behalf of our Great Citizens, would like to recognize and thank the Ruth Mott Foundation for its generous gift of $65,000.00 to fund the design and construction of the new Flint River Trail – Gilkey Creek Trail Extension. The trail is located between the Applewood Estate and Mott Community College. The Gilkey Creek Trail represents the latest environmentally friendly trail construction technology. The City is very appreciative of the working relationship with the Ruth Mott Foundation and looks forward to the Citizens of the City of Flint enjoying the newly constructed Gilkey Creek Trail.
