SAGINAW -- It was a popular site in Saginaw from the late 80's until 2002. Since then it's been an eyesore.
Come Monday, city council will decide if Andersen Water Park will be demolished.
City officials have to approve the $64,000 contract to remove what's left of the water park.
If approved demolition would start next month; removing the wave pool, pump houses, and sidewalks.
City council hopes by 2010 to put in a splash park, pavilion, playscape, and skate park; the projects would cost $1.4 million.
