BATTLE CREEK (AP) -- A man faces three felonies following the death of his 34-year-old girlfriend, who was fatally shot inside her running car in Battle Creek.
Thirty-one-year-old Lendal Clark of Battle Creek was arraigned Tuesday on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, receiving and concealing a stolen firearm and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Clark, who doesn't yet have a lawyer, faces up to 12 years in prison if convicted of all charges. His preliminary examination is set for March 6.
Roseda Gray of Albion was discovered early Sunday with a single gunshot wound to her head. She died later at Battle Creek Health System.
Investigators are still trying to determine whether Gray's death was a suicide or a homicide.
