Yamaha is recalling thousands of off-road all terrain vehicles after three models were involved in 46 deaths. The deaths go back to 2003 when the vehicles were first introduced.
This is the first government recall of a recreational vehicle. About 145,000 Yamaha Rhinos are a part of the recall.
The Rhinos are meant for licensed drivers, but some of the deaths involved children.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission is also involved in the recall, which is intended to make repairs to reduce roll-overs and enclose the riders' compartment.
The recall involves model numbers 450, 660 and 700.
