A 39-year-old Davison Township man is dead following a motorcycle crash on Saturday afternoon. It happened on South State Street or M-15 just North of Lapeer Road. Police say the motorcycle was headed southbound and struck a car pulling out of a business driveway.
The motorcycle then caught fire. The driver of the car was uninjured. Police say speed was a factor in the crash; however they do not suspect drugs or alcohol involvement at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
