RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) - A Michigan man faces possible charges

after authorities say an Arkansas State Police trooper found 325

pounds of marijuana inside of his tractor trailer.

Troopers say they searched the rig of Haldon E. Gilkes, 39, of

Canton, Mich., on Wednesday after he acted nervous and failed to

provided proper paperwork during a traffic stop. During the search,

troopers say they found the drugs, worth about $520,000, hidden

behind the first row of pallets in the trailer.

Authorities say Gilkes was arrested January in New Mexico on a

similar drug charge. Gilkes told an Arkansas judge on Friday that

he was born in Barbados and was not a U.S. citizen.

Pope County jailers say Gilkes has been released on $50,000

bond.
