MONROE (AP) -- Officials continue making funeral arrangements for a 5-year-old Michigan girl whose body was found next to the River Raisin.
Office manager Sirena Williams said the phone at the Merkle Funeral Service office in Monroe has been "ringing off the hook" with people requesting information about funeral services for Nevaeh Buchanan.
Visitation will be held from noon to midnight Thursday and 10 a.m. to midnight Friday.
The funeral will be held Saturday at noon at the Stewart Road Church of God in Monroe, 35 miles south of Detroit.
The Rev. Sam Luke said his sanctuary holds 2,000 people, but he's heard up to 10,000 people may attend.
The Monroe County sheriff's office said approximately 1,100 tips have been received. No arrests have been made.
