Saginaw Police Det. Dutoi says the suspect in who allegedly robed the Citizens Bank at 2515 E. Genesee Rd. has been arrested. The robbery occurred around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. The suspect left the bank on foot. An off duty Auto Theft detective was in the area. The suspect attempted to flag down the detective, attempting to hitch a ride, and the detective was able to arrest the suspect.
A weapon was reported, but police did not find any weapons on the suspect.
Det. Dutoi says the suspect is a white male around 50 years old, and will most likely be arraigned Thursday morning.
