The sales incentive had local dealerships singing the praises of the program. But now, it could end Friday if more money isn't thrown its way.
At Suski Chevrolet Buick in Birch Run, 25 clunkers were dropped off, ready to be crushed and recycled. Employees at the dealership say the promotion felt like the good old days, a customer for every salesperson. In fact, there was a waiting line.
Originally, "Cash for Clunkers" was supposed to last until November.
