It looks like Flint will have to wait one more day for its new mayor to be sworn in.
Last night, Dayne Walling beat Brenda Clack with 63 percent of the vote.
Walling was set to be confirmed today as the new mayor. However, the group that certifies election results did not finish in time today.
It expects to complete the process tomorrow and Walling will be officially confirmed as mayor.
