The Michigan Department of Transportation is scheduled to complete crack seal work on I-75 in Genesee County.
The project extends from I-475 (Mile Marker 125), at the project's north junction, to the south junction of the project on I-75 at I-475 (Mile Marker 111).
Crews will complete work in both directions on I-75, with work starting on southbound I-75.
Barring rainy weather, work on southbound I-75 lanes is expected to begin Tuesday night, Aug. 25, with completion anticipated Friday night, Aug. 28.
Work on northbound I-75 will be underway Friday and Saturday nights, Aug. 28-29. Work will resume Monday night, Aug. 31, with completion anticipated Tuesday night, Sept. 1.
Single lane closures will be in effect starting at 7 p.m. each night. Double lane closures will be allowed on I-75, beginning at 10 p.m. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. each morning.
Short duration closures scheduled for US-10 bridge over Sanford Lake, Midland County
Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) contract crews will be setting new bridge beams on the center span of the US-10 bridge over Sanford Lake, beginning Friday Aug. 28, at 9 a.m. Work is anticipated to be completed by 2 p.m. the same day. Eastbound lanes on US-10 at the bridge will close for 15-minute intervals to allow this work. Local police will assist with traffic control.
Eastbound US-10 traffic is currently shifted to westbound lanes across the bridge with wide load restrictions in effect to accommodate ongoing bridge work.
