Vertical land is recalling about 32,000 of its horizontal, vertical and cellular shades.

The blinds don't have inner cord stops to prevent those cords from being pulled out.

One child has died by strangulation from the blind cord.

Customers should contact vertical land at 1-800-506-4636 for information to receive a free retrofit kit.

The deaths of two other children lead to the recall of almost five million roll up blinds and roman shades.

Lewis Hyman Blinds and Roman Shades can pose a strangulation hazard to children if they get entangled in loops.

One child died in 2007 and another died in 2008 from strangulation.

Call Lewis Hyman at 1-877-354-5457 to get a free repair kit.
