You have one month to speak out on a proposed settlement agreement between the EPA, Michigan DEQ, and Dow Chemical Company.

The deal does not settle on actual clean-up, but involves the next steps in finding the best way to clean up contamination in the Titabawassee River, Saginaw River and Saginaw Bay.

Dioxins are unstable chemicals known to cause health problems, including cancer.  The Dow Chemical Company says the toxic chemical was released from its Midland plant years ago.
