BAY CITY -- Beacon Films, a Mid-Michigan video production company will release their first documentary film Friday October 23rd at the State Theater in Bay City
In the film "Anything but Ordinary" Michigan film-maker Michael Mccleary sets out across the United States and Canada in search for ordinary people living extroardinary lives.
McCleary says he hopes the stories shared with him about how different people view change, perseverance, faith and success will inspire viewers to live out their own passion. Shooting the film was a four year journey of hard work and little cash on hand.
"We literally had no money, no budget, but I am proud of the work we've done," McCleary says." It's a real high quality film and looks good."
Film Director Casey Turner says,"It's a film that's real and heavy at times, but it's light hearted... so for a viewer they can expect something they are going to relate to."
The movie will premier at the Bay City State theater this Friday at 7:00 pm.
Tickets are $5 and all proceeds will be donated to local charities.
The movie is also set to premier in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
