SAGINAW -- The following is a message from St. Mary's of Michigan:
Nearly 24 million children and adults in the United States are living with diabetes, and another 57 million people are at-risk. To mark November as American Diabetes Month, St. Mary’s of Michigan will host a free diabetes screening and community education event on Wednesday, November 11, at the Health Education Center, located at 800 South Washington in Saginaw.
Diabetes Screening will take place from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. while the Community Education Program will be from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. No reservation for either program is required, but the screening will operate on a first come, first served basis.
