(AP) -- FLINT, Mich. (AP) - The University of Michigan-Flint is marking Veterans Day with a bagpipe ceremony and the dedication of a new Student Veterans Resource Center. The observances start Wednesday morning at the University Center and include a walk to the Veterans Memorial Rock in front of the building.
The dedication for the resource center starts in the afternoon. The school says it's part of a program to increase support for former members of the armed forces making the transition to student life.
