SAGINAW -- Residents in the City of Saginaw taking their streets back.
Parishioners on Patrol held a meeting Thursday evening to try and come up with a plan to stop the violence in several high crime areas.
This is the community safety group's third meeting after recent deadly shootings involving children.
Organizers are asking residents and businesses to step up and help out.
"It's time to get involved to save our youth. It takes a whole village to save our young people," said Parishioner's Pastor Larry Camel.
In October the group held a Stop the Violence march after three children were shot in September.
The group will meet again in December to unveil a plan that they hope will put a stop to deadly shootings.
