Prison guards are searching through jail cells looking for weapons used in a gang fight at a correctional faculty.

The Saginaw News reports a jail fight broke out at the Saint Louis Correctional Facility in Gratiot County, Tuesday afternoon.

Eleven inmates were involved in the brawl and three guards were injured, two of which were hospitalized.

Their conditions are not known at this time and it's not known how the knife fight got started.

NBC25 called the facility, but no one would comment.
