SAGINAW COUNTY -- The man who allegedly held his girlfriend hostage at gunpoint and then barricaded himself in her apartment was arraigned Friday morning at the Saginaw County Courthouse.

19-year old Michael Henry was officially charged in connection with a stand-off Tuesday night in the 200 block of Pierce Road at an apartment complex near the SVSU campus.

Investigators say a 19-year old girl claimed her Henry, her boyfriend chased her down with a gun and forced her back to her apartment.

She was able to get away and call for help.

By the time deputies arrived and secured the complex, the Henry had locked himself in the victim's apartment for about an hour before he surrendered.
