FLINT -- Two rare birds have been spotted soaring around the Flint Southwestern Academy campus grounds Monday and Tuesday.
April Holderbaum, a student, grabbed her camera and snapped photos of the Bald Eagles, which were perched in trees near the Soap-box derby track at the school.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says the Bald Eagles are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.
