(AP) -- ROMULUS, Mich. (AP) - Authorities are searching for two men they believe are responsible for an apparent rape of a woman along a highway in suburban Detroit. Romulus police tell WWJ-AM the assault happened Thursday morning along westbound Interstate 94 after the woman stopped because of car trouble.
Investigators said two men drove up and asked whether the woman needed help. The woman told police that before she could answer, one of the men forced her to the ground and held her while the other man sexually assaulted her.
The woman said both men wore black hoodies and jeans and were driving a black or dark blue Crown Victoria or a Dodge Charger, with police-style spotlights.
