(AP) -- A 93-year-old Grand Rapids man who spent two days lying on his bathroom floor after a bout with dizziness and a hard fall is recovering at a hospital with a broken hip. Authorities say Glenn Perkins was found about 2 p.m. Thursday and is expected to walk again after undergoing surgery on Saturday.
The Grand Rapids Press says 40-year-old Cristal Shaw of Sparta, one of its own carriers, alerted police after noticing that Perkins had not picked up his newspapers in three days.
