Firefighters spent a second day battling an intense fire at the Parnall Correctional Facility.
The fire, which started last night, rekindled this morning in a laundry area of the prison.
According to the Michigan Department of Corrections, the fire appears to be arson.
No one was hurt, however the flames and smoke did cause serious damage to the building.
