(AP) -- DETROIT (AP) - More than 200 homeless and unemployed have signed up to receive free food and blankets during a New Year's Eve gospel concert at a Detroit church. Bobby Jones and the Nashville Super Choir will perform at the Thursday evening benefit at the Holy Spirit Cathedral of Faith, 1745 E. Grand Boulevard. The concert runs from 6-10 p.m.

Homeless and jobless persons can attend the concert for free. Proceeds from ticket sales to the general public will be used to purchase food and blankets for the needy.
