A fire destroyed the kitchen at a popular downtown Flint restaurant, but Churchill's Food and Spirits won't let the blaze destroy its New Year’s celebration.
Crews got to work first thing Thursday morning cleaning up the mess left throughout the restaurant by the fire.
It will be open New Year’s Eve and New Years Day for cocktails only.
Doors open at 8:00pm New Year’s Eve. Customers will enjoy live entertainment.
After New Year’s Day the restaurant will be closed for several weeks while the kitchen is completely re-built.
