Burglary investigation leads to drug arrests in Owosso

Shiawasse County Sheriff's Dectives report they've made several home invasion and drug related arrest after a two month burglary investigation.

Detectives report they were originally conducting surveillance on two burglary suspects when they notice drug transactions taking place near M-52 and Clinton Street in Owosso near Lincoln High School Tuesday. After a drug transaction deputies arrested the two suspects for possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine and confiscated a large amount of cocaine.  Detectives then searched a nearby house and found more drugs and stolen property.

Two additional suspects were arrest for home invasion and drug violations in connection with several burglaries. Four additional suspects are expected to be arrested in the coming days. The investigation is still ongoing.
