The U.S. Coast Guard issued a warning Tuesday night asking fisherman to stay off the ice.

This warning comes after 50 people were reported stranded on the ice on the Saginaw Bay Tuesday.

Coast Guard officials sent rescue helicopters out but found nothing.

The group was later found safe.

Officials say the ice is breaking and is unsafe.

Tuesday's incident comes on the heels of two deadly ice accidents from this past weekend.
