LANSING (AP) -- Gov. Jennifer Granholm will deliver her eighth and final State of the State address to citizens hungry for a vision of better times ahead.
The Democratic governor will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday to a lawmakers, justices and Cabinet members in the House chamber at the state Capitol.
Capitol event managers say they wouldn't be surprised if 1,000 people demonstrate outside during the hour-long speech, which will be broadcast live.
Granholm will save some of the details of her goals for next week, when her adminstration will propose a spending plan for the budget year that starts Oct. 1.
