The cost of medical supplies can become a major burden for folks who suffer an injury or disability. One Bay County charity says it’s here to help.

The Disability Services Resource Center in Bay City has numerous items available, volunteers and workers want people to know they’re here to help. The center offers recreation, medical equipment loans and helps with building ramps for those who suffer a disability.

There is a need for donations of medical supplies and cash to continue the work. If you’d like to help, there will be a Benefit Roast Beef Dinner.

The dinner will be held on Valentine’s Day at 1st Presbyterian Church in Bay City located at 805 Center Ave.   It will go from noon to 4:00 p.m. The cost for adults is $8.00 each or 2 for $15.00.  The cost for children age 12 and under is $5.00. The menu includes roast beef, real mashed potatoes and gravy, creamy slaw, vegetables, apple sauce, rolls, beverage, and dessert.  Take out orders are available.

You can purchase tickets at the door or by calling 989-895-5444.
