GROVELAND TOWNSHIP -- A mix of sun, clouds and the snow left on the ground was all many skiers needed to hit the slopes at Mount Holly in Groveland Township Saturday. Despite a winter with little heavy snowfall so far, managers of the ski facility told NBC25 they have seen good crowds coming through. However, they also make their own snow just in case. That helps create the three foot base of snow on the mountain. General Manager Mark Tibbits said the recession has not kept many people home either.
