FLINT -- One local company is spreading the cheer this Valentine's day.
Kroger delivered heart-shaped valentines balloons to children at Hurley Medical Center Friday morning.
Kroger and Hurley staff say this is a special way to brighten children's days.
“Well, it's really special because we feel we're able to extend love on such a lovely occasion to all the patients that are here at Hurley Medical Center," Sandra Barnett, Kroger floral director, stated.
“It makes for a fun day for them and when you have to be here, it makes it a little easier," Hurley Medical Center’s Lori Newton added.
Each year Kroger stops by the hospital to deliver gifts to the children in time for Valentine’s Day.
