A new project will make driving easier for people heading to Kettering University.
Flint Mayor Dayne Walling announced the beginning of construction on the Kettering gateway, a $3M dollar project that will connect I-69 to University Avenue.
The money comes from the federal stimulus grants.

Walling says none of the area's historic homes will be affected by the new road.
