78-year-old Bobby Crim, the founder of Flint's Crim Festival of Races, was all set to run his first marathon this past weekend.

However, because of a flu bug Crim was unable to compete at the Gasparilla Distance Classic in Tampa, Florida.

Crim tells NBC25 he is disappointed in not being able to run, but that he's in really good shape, his running times are good, and he plans on possibly running the Traverse City State Bank Bayshore Marathon in May.
