CORUNNA (AP) -- Jurors are behind closed doors deliberating in the murder trial of a man who admits shooting a Michigan anti-abortion activist and a businessman.
The jury in Shiawassee County began talking around 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
Harlan Drake admits killing James Pouillon while he held up a sign of a dead fetus outside Owosso High School last September. He says he also shot Mike Fuoss at the victim's office.
Prosecutors say Drake held grudges and didn't like Pouillon's aggressive protests in front of kids. Defense lawyers asked the jury to find him not guilty by reason of insanity. Trial began March 1.
