Authorities believe alcohol was a factor in a two vehicle crash on southbound I-75 in Genesee County's Vienna Township.
The accident happened around 6:15PM Sunday.
Genesee County Sheriff's deputies say, the man who was driving a red vehicle had an open bottle of Jack Daniels whisky in the vehicle.
They say, he was coming from a Midland-area party, where he had a dispute.
Investigators say, he hit an SUV and both vehicles went into the median.
They say, the man in the red vehicle ran into the woods and the driver of the SUV ran after him.
The suspected drunk driver was eventually taken into custody.
No serious injuries were reported.
