(AP) -- The Michigan Department of Transportation has added views from 13 traffic cameras in the Upper Peninsula to its Web site to help people check traffic and weather conditions. The cameras are located on Interstate 75, state routes 26, 28 and 35, and U.S. highways 2 and 41.

The updates were made by MDOT and the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget. They worked with the state's Center for Shared Solutions and Technology Partnerships and the Intelligent Transportation Systems program office. Detroit- and Grand Rapids-area camera views also are available.
