(AP) -- Some tolls are going up at the Blue Water Bridge and the International Bridge. The Michigan Department of Transportation says commercial tolls on the U.S. side of the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron rise Thursday to $3.25 per axle from $2.50. It brings tolls in line with those charged on the Canadian side.
The rate for passenger vehicles remains $3. The bridge connects Port Huron, Mich., and Sarnia, Ontario, over the St. Clair River. MDOT says tolls at the International Bridge in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., rise Thursday to $3 from $2.50 for passenger vehicles. International Bridge tolls will be adjusted for Canadian currency to reflect recent average exchange rates.
The bridge connects Michigan's Upper Peninsula with Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
