(AP) -- A small plane has crashed in Louisville, and the pilot has been taken to a hospital. WAVE-TV reports the plane crashed at about 8:30 p.m. EDT on the Kentucky Exposition Center grounds. The station says emergency dispatchers report the pilot was the only person on board the Piper PA-28-180.
Federal Aviation Administration records indicate the aircraft is registered to a person who lives in Southfield, Mich. The pilot's name has not been released.
