Wednesday is the American Heart Association's National Start! Walking Day. It's a day set aside to remind people of the importance of incorporating physical activity in to their day.

National Start! Walking Day also kicks off the fundraising season for the American Heart Association's annual Start! Heart Walks.

Your local Mid-Michigan heart walks will take place Saturday, May 15th in Bay City at Wenonah Park and Saturday, May 22 in downtown Flint. Anyone can form a community team and help fight heart disease and stroke by visiting www.MIheartwalk.org to set up a team webpage.
