(AP) -- HAMTRAMCK, Mich. - A candlelight vigil and memorial mass honoring Poland's president Lech Kaczynski, first lady and 94 others who died in a plane crash has been scheduled in Hamtramck.

WWJ-AM says the vigil will begin Tuesday evening at Zussman Park and will be followed by a procession to Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church.

The plane crashed Saturday near Katyn, Russia, where Polish officials were traveling to mark the 70th anniversary of the Soviet Union's 1940 execution of 22,000 Polish military officers.

The Rev. Bogdan Milosz of Our Lady Queen of Apostles told parishioners Sunday that those who died have "flown into eternity."

He told parishioners in historically Polish Hamtramck that the tragedy will focus attention on the mysteries still surrounding the massacre.
