(AP) -- More than 500 students from all 14 of Michigan State University's undergraduate colleges are set to take part in Friday's annual University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum. Research topics include a range of topics, from tropical diseases and spinal cord injuries to the life of an 18th-century violin making.
Undergraduate research director Korine Steinke Wawrzynski says students "work closely with leading scholars to gain in-depth knowledge about their fields of study."
Students are presenting their findings at the MSU Union, some using oral descriptions and others using poster displays.
