(AP) -- CARO, Mich. - Caro authorities say a gun-wielding man upset about his wife's job loss has been arrested.
Police say the man entered the city's Human Development Commission on Wednesday demanding answers about his wife's dismissal.
As the man's increasingly hostile conversation continued with two supervisors, including one responsible for his wife's lay off, one of the officials e-mailed an employee to call police.
Caro Police Chief Brian Newcomb said the man at some point began waving a .45-caliber semiautomatic handgun.
Police say the man pointed the gun at Newcomb and two additional responding officers. One officer knocked the gun from the man's hand while another subdued him.
The man is being held in the Tuscola County Jail.
