From the Saginaw County Sheriff's Office ...

The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single vehicle crash, involving a pedestrian, which occurred Monday around 10:30 p.m. at Lincoln and Ferden Roads in Maple Grove Township. The pedestrian, Jason Alan Hale, 35, of Dearborn, was killed in the crash.

A preliminary investigation indicates that Eric Thomas Crenshaw, 20, of New Lothrop was driving a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme south on Lincoln Road from Ditch Road and the Crenshaw did not see the Hale walking south bound in the south bound lane of Lincoln. Crenshaw was not injured.

The crash is still under investigation by the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office.
