Bay City Police warn about car break-ins

BAY CITY -- The following is a message from the Bay City Police Department:

The Bay City Police Department took several incident reports over the weekend about vehicles being entered or damaged. Several larceny from auto complaints were taken from the south end of Bay City, mainly south of Cass Avenue. In some of these cases, GPS units were stolen from unlocked vehicles. Also, some vehicles in the vicinity of Fitzhugh and 18th Street were damaged when windows were smashed. These incidents occurred during the overnight hours. Police advise residents to report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.

Anyone with information on the person(s) responsible is asked to call the police at 989-892-8571.
