(AP) -- Authorities are investigating two separate weekend boating accidents that left one man dead, one injured and one missing. Divers today are expected to continue searching Hardwood Lake in Ogemaw County's Richland Township after a 44-year-old Oakland County man who failed to return from a fishing trip was reported missing.

WSGW-AM says the man's boat was found yesterday and his hat washed ashore. In Tuscola County, a 61-year old Peck man was found dead and a 41-year old Metamora man was taken to a hospital after they were found yesterday in Lake Huron's Saginaw Bay.

State police officials said the men had been in the water about 16 hours before they were found. Their partially submerged 16-foot aluminum boat was found in water about 10 feet deep.
