DETROIT (AP) -- A crime-reality series camera crew may have videotaped events leading up to the shooting death of a 7-year-old girl at the hands of a Detroit officer.

Aiyana Jones was shot during a weekend raid in which police were searching a family home for a homicide suspect.

The crew for the A&E series "The First 48" was with police during the raid.

An attorney representing Aiyana's family says he has seen video of the siege, although he would not say if the footage was from that crew.

What's on the video could reveal if Aiyana was fatally shot by an officer whose gun mistakenly discharged inside the house, as police say, or if claims of a "cover up" by attorney Geoffrey Fieger are true.
