The horses are helping the mid-Michigan company celebrate the grand-opening of a new facility.
For over 75-years the Budweiser Clydesdales have embodied the beer’s brand, and during that time a mid-Michigan beer distributor has delivered that beer to a store near you.
Now the iconic Budweiser horses have traveled from St. Louis, Missiouri to help celebrate the Fabiano Brothers Inc. celebrate the 125th anniversary of the company and the grand opening of a new state-of-the-art beer and wine distribution center in Monitor Township this weekend. The wholesale beer and wine distributor will use the site to better serve businesses in 14 northern and mid-Michigan counties.
The horses arrived in mid-Michigan to start the celebration in Mount Pleasant Thursday. Now they are at the Fabiano Brothers new more than $16-million facility for several parties.
The company is putting on one celebration for the public.
You can come to the new facility at U.S. 10 and Mackinaw Rd. Sunday, May 23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Budweiser Clydesdales will be on display in their stalls all three days of the events in Bay City and will hitch up once daily for parades on the grounds.
You will also be able to tour the new state of the art, 200,000 square foot distribution center and corporate office.
