Beginning at 3 p.m. Friday, May 28, and continuing until 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 15 out of 23 total projects in MDOT's Bay Region will have lane restrictions removed.
Central Michigan and Thumb
- I-69 from M-15 to M-24 in Genesee and Lapeer counties will have eastbound and westbound traffic shifted onto eastbound lanes with one open in each direction.
- I-475 southbound from the I-75/I-475 split north to Atherton Road in Genesee County will remain closed with traffic detoured. I-75 traffic will be rerouted to the I-75/I-69 interchange, then travel east to the I-75/I-475. I-475 northbound will have one lane open from Atherton Road north to I-69.
- M-13 at M-46 in Saginaw County will remain closed with a detour posted.
- I-675 northbound in Saginaw County will remain closed from Exit 2 to Tittabawassee Road. Tittabawassee Road north to the north junction with I-75 will be open.
- M-84/I-75 in Bay County will remain closed with a detour posted.
- I-75 from Hotchkiss Road south to Crane Road in Saginaw and Bay counties will have three lanes maintained in each direction with a traffic shift.
- M-83 at Dead Creek in between Curtis and Townline roads (just south of Bronner's) in Frankenmuth, Saginaw County, will have one lane alternating in each direction with traffic maintained using temporary traffic signals.
- M-13 over the Kawkawlin River in Bay County will have one lane maintained in each direction over the bridge.

Bay Region Traffic Updates: Wednesday, May 26
I-75, Bay County, night time emergency repairs
One lane will remain open in each direction on northbound and southbound lane between Prevo and Coggins Road to allow emergency repair work, including joint work and concrete patching.
Work began Tuesday night, May 25, and is expected to be completed Thursday, May 26.

I-675, Saginaw County
Northbound I-675 from Tittabawassee Road to the north junction with I-75 in Saginaw County is scheduled to reopen Thursday, May 27, weather permitting.
A full closure of northbound I-675 lanes from the south junction with I-75 north to Tittabawassee Road, with traffic detoured to I-75, where motorists may access southbound I-675, is scheduled to begin Tuesday, June 1. This closure, which will accommodate ongoing bridge work, is expected to be in effect for approximately four weeks, through the end of June. (Tittabawassee Road to the north junction with I-75 will remain open.)
Shattuck Road under I-675 is closed with traffic detoured until Thursday, May 27 for bridge painting. Motorists are being rerouted via Michigan Road, McCarty Road, Barnard Road. Work is expected to be completed by Memorial Day, weather permitting.
Janes Road over the I-75 ramp to I-675 is closed with traffic detoured until Thursday, May 27 for bridge work. Motorists are being rerouted via Outer Drive, Wadsworth Road, and Towerline Road. Work resumes after the Memorial Day weekend and will last approximately four weeks.
I-475, Genesee County
Northbound and southbound M-24 on-ramps to westbound I-69 remain closed with traffic detoured through June 3.
One northbound I-475 lane from the I-75/I-475 split to Hill Road is expected to reopen to local (Hill Road) traffic on Thursday May 27. Northbound I-475 will remain closed between Hill and Atherton Roads with traffic detoured.

I-69, Genesee and Lapeer counties
Northbound and southbound M-24 traffic is rerouted to eastbound I-69, then to Wilder Road where the interchange loops around to westbound I-69.
Single-lane closures remain in effect on eastbound and westbound I-69 with traffic shifted as the MDOT continues road and bridge construction work on I-69 from M-15 to M-24. Motorists are separated using the temporary concrete barrier.
This project is expected to be completed by October 2010.
