Torrey Road guardrail upgrade and shoulder repair has begun
Flint, Michigan -- The Genesee County Road Commission in conjunction with the Michigan Department of Transportation is pleased to announce that guardrail upgrades and HMA shoulder surfacing on Torrey Road between Bristol Road and Maple Road near Bishop International Airport in the City of Flint are underway. Expect a single lane closure maintained by a flagging operation. Construction is expected to be completed by Friday, July 2, 2010.
Bridge on Elms Road in the City of Flushing to be closed Monday, June 21
Flint, Michigan. -- The Genesee County Road Commission would like to remind motorists of an upcoming bridge closure. The bridge over the Flint River on Elms Road, between River and Flushing roads, in the City of Flushing will be closed starting Monday, June 21, 2010. Traffic will be detoured over the Linden Road Bridge via Beecher Road and Flushing Road. The bridge will be re-opened on or before September 3, 2010.
